Sharjah, UAE: Motorists travelling between Sharjah and the UAE’s eastern مناطق have been urged to take alternative routes to avoid congestion and ensure safer journeys, according to a latest advisory issued by Sharjah Police.
Authorities recommended using Emirates Road as a preferred route, highlighting its current smooth traffic flow compared to other busy corridors. Drivers heading toward the Eastern Region are also advised to continue via the Khorfakkan Road tunnel, which offers quicker and more efficient access to central and eastern المناطق.
The advisory comes as part of ongoing efforts to ease traffic pressure and enhance road safety, especially during periods of increased movement across the emirate.
Sharjah Police also urged residents to avoid unnecessary travel unless required, stressing that limiting road usage can significantly improve traffic conditions and reduce risks.
For assistance or inquiries, the public can contact Sharjah Police through their 24/7 hotline, as authorities reaffirmed their readiness to respond to any situation and support motorists on the road.
Officials continue to encourage drivers to follow traffic guidelines and plan routes in advance to ensure a smooth and safe commute across the emirate.
